I can't even begin to describe the feeling of being surrounded by immense glaciers and towering icebergs. It's a humbling experience that makes you feel so small. The vastness and stillness of Antarctica can take your breath away.

The wildlife is also something to behold. You can spend hours just watching the penguins waddle around, interacting with each other and taking care of their chicks. And seeing the whales breach and swim gracefully in the icy waters is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

But it's not just the scenery and the wildlife that make Antarctica special. It's the people you meet along the way. Everyone on the expedition ship had a shared passion for exploring and experiencing the beauty of our planet. We shared stories and laughs, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

If you ever get the chance to visit Antarctica, do it. It's an experience that will change you forever. And remember to leave nothing but footprints and take nothing but memories. 🐧🐋🌍❄️

A photoshoot location can make or break the quality of your images. Choose wisely!

Below are some tips for choosing a location for your photoshoot:

1. Prioritize locations with flattering lighting - Gloomy rooms are often unflattering. Morning and early evening shoots outside provide the softest and warmest forms of natural lighting.

2. Follow the weather forecast and have a backup location available - Follow the forecast in the days and hours leading up to your shoot. It’s a good idea to select a location with a relatively bright, warm, and dry climate. Have a backup space picked out in the event of a storm.

3. Choose a location that can be photographed from a variety of angles - You want to be captured against a variety of backdrops. Find a location containing different features, colors, and textures.

4. Consider the accessibility of your location - Make sure to pick a location that is easy to access. Also, choose a location that isn’t too far away so you aren’t feeling tired or groggy during your shoot.

I would love to help you pick the perfect location for you! Reach out to me today to schedule your photo session.

Candid photos are the most natural form of storytelling. Take more of them; they are often far more interesting than posed ones!

Here are some tips for taking candid photos on your phone:

Use burst mode
Pay attention to details
Look for contrast
Pre-compose the shot
Wait for the decisive moment

In each of my sessions, I capture a variety of posed and candids, and I LOVE the variety that gives us in the final gallery!

“True artistic expression lies in conveying emotion.” - Angel Haze

When you see a camera, your first instinct may be to say “cheese!!” And sometimes a big happy smile is definitely the right choice. But when I work with clients I like to mix it up and ask for a variety of expressions, so you get more variety in your finished images.

Out of the two images above, which do you like better?
