✨Wedding planning tip✨

Set your date and book your venue before any other vendors. This way when you’re reaching out to photographers, caterers, make up artists, etc. you’ll be able to give them a definitive date. This will save time for everyone. Vendors can tell you yes or no upon first contact if they’re available and you’ll be able to book quicker!

Adventure bridals sessions are where its at!

If you’re having a traditional wedding but still really want those fun adventure bridal photos in the woods or on top of a mountain or at the beach, an adventure session is for you! It can be before your wedding day if you don’t mind seeing each other in your wedding attire OR it can be after the wedding. Book a day after, week after, months after. It doesn’t really matter. It’s just a fun excuse to throw on your wedding dress one more time before putting it in storage, have a fun time together (make it a date night with dinner at the end) and get some really epic photos to hang on your walls!

Happy New Year friends! I’m back from my month long break and feeling more ready than ever to get back to work and get 2023 started!

I’m not really one for new years resolutions but the new year always brings a feeling of wonder and excitement for a fresh start. Last year I made a goal to read more and I exceeded my expectation for that. This year my goal is to read even more that I did in 2022 and learn to make homemade bread. I also want to grow a successful garden this year, so fingers crossed that the weather cooperates this spring!

✨I did it!✨

I finished my busiest wedding season to date. I’ve officially delivered all galleries in my backlog and IT. FEELS. GOOD.

From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate every single one of you here. I couldn’t have done it without YOU. My incredible couples, who have trusted me to document a part of their story. My family and friends supporting me, helping me, encouraging me, stepping in the gap. All the incredible vendors I’ve had the privilege of working with this year. And of course you. Even if all you’re doing is following along, it means more than you know, to have your support even just through this little app.

Now that I’m all caught up, I will be out of office for the full month of December. I will be taking this time to rest, recharge, spend time with family and to clarify more of my business and what I offer. I want to make sure that I’m coming into the new year with renewed creativity and direction for this business. I want to make sure that I am offering the best of myself to my clients and the best way for me to do that is through rest, prayer, and gaining new perspective.
