We spent our snowy weekend playing and running around the backyard followed by mass quantities of hot chocolate and coffee. I don’t typically love snow but it was such a nice change of weather for the for the short time it was here. How did you spend your time in the snow?? ☃️🌨

What is love?

L is for letting your dog lick your face

O is for ohh look how cute my dog is

Pumpkin Banana Snacky Snacks 🎃

Ingredients:
• 1 cup of pure pumpkin purée
• 1 mashed banana
• 2 eggs
• 3 cups of whole wheat flour + extra for rolling/cutting
• Treat molds or bone shaped cookie cutters

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix together pumpkin, banana and eggs
3. Mix in flour until a dough forms
4. Roll dough out, about 1/4 inch thick
5. Cut out in fun shapes your dog will love and lay on baking sheet!
6. Place baking sheet in the oven for 25-30 minutes
7. Let cool and spoil your pup with fun homemade snacks!

Everyone knows the best part of baking is getting to lick the spatula at the end 😛

Note: this spatula I used to make homemade dog treats, she’s not eating anything that’s not safe for pups. Recipe to come!

This last weekend I had the impromptu opportunity to take a few photos of my grandpa and his dogs.

While to some they may just be cute little white furballs, but to him they are his world. And to them, he’s the sweet human that they love (and that gives them snacks).

We all have different reasons for loving our pets. They provide us with a kind of love that is unparalleled to humanity. It is pure. It is unconditional. It is magic.

Ellie, in her natural state. People ask me all the time what I do to pose her, and the funny thing is that she does it all herself. I’m 99% sure she knows that when the camera comes out she needs to get into posing position.
