It is with a heavy heart, that I am announcing Light + Pine photography will be shutting down, at the end of December.

For those of you who have photo credits, gift certificates, previously booked sessions and weddings , DONT WORRY 🖤 we will be proceeding as normal! And we are still on for your big day!!!!✨

I have operated my photography business for many years, and it has brought me so much joy! However, I just feel my soul is ready to move forward onto new things! And I couldn’t be more excited!

Thank you to everyone who has booked with me, promoted my business, referred Light + Pine to your friends and family! I will forever be so grateful for the memories, the support and the overwhelming love I have received!

A Gentle Pause

Hey friends,

I wanted to take a moment to share something personal with you. I’ve made the decision to take the month of May off from photography to prioritize my mental health.

In addition to running my photography business, I also work full-time at a middle school as a special education paraeducator in a DLC (Developmental Learning Classroom). I’m a proud mom, and I live with a chronic illness that can make balancing it all feel like a quiet storm inside my body.

The truth is—juggling all of this has taken a toll, and I’ve realized that in order to continue showing up for my clients, my students, and my family with the heart and presence they deserve, I have to first show up for myself. This month is about rest, healing, and restoring the energy I’ve been giving out so freely.

I’ll be back in June, refreshed and ready to create beautiful memories with you again. If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, I’d love to connect then.

I will be taking bookings through may, but not for the month of may, unless I feel at some point I have taken enough time to tend to my mental and emotional well being🖤
