It is a pleasure talking to clients and hearing about the animal that they loved and at the same time so sad. But I love being able to take the cell phone images that they give and turning them into moments that they like to remember such as their animal riding in the back of the pick up truck with autumn leaves in the air

Meet Benny! 🐾

Benny had a difficult start to life. The runt of his litter, he contracted parvo at just eight and a half weeks old and spent several weeks at the emergency vet. Thankfully, he made it through and came home ready to begin a new chapter.

And what a life he’s been living since!

Benny loves all things water, hiking, treats of every kind, new fuzzy blankets, and his beloved toy bunny. One of his greatest joys? Finding a pile of leaves to dive into! 🍂

It’s lovely to see how much personality can shine through when a dog is given the chance to grow, explore, and enjoy the things that make him happy.

From a fragile puppy to a boy who embraces every adventure, Benny has quite a story to tell. 🤍

As an animal lover, being home as I recover from a broken leg changes my perspective on ways I see Benny. I’m not often home during the day so watching him as he seeks the sun is sweet. I had a friend who lost her dog and the thing she said that I’ll never forget she didn’t know if her dog knew how much she loved her. Of course her dog did, but her other dog demanded a lot of attention a lot of energy. That is one of the reason behind building my community. Noticing things in small ways can help you build that bond so that you know that your dog loves you. weekly prompts help you slow down and notice your animal monthly creative practices help you celebrate your animal with art poetry photography whatever feels good.
