A Little Preparation Goes a Long Way
A little preparation can help your pet feel more comfortable during their session—but here's the most important thing to remember:
They don't have to be perfect.
Every pet has their own personality, and that's exactly what makes them special. My goal isn't to capture perfect poses—it's to preserve the genuine moments that reflect the bond you share.
Here are a few simple ways to help your pet feel ready:
🐾 1. Get some exercise first.
A walk or a little playtime can help your pet relax and settle into the session.
🦴 2. Bring their favorite treats or toy.
A familiar reward keeps them engaged and makes the experience more enjoyable.
🦮 3. Keep it simple.
A plain collar and leash photograph beautifully. Leashes can often be edited out later while keeping your pet safe throughout the session.
💧 4. Pack the essentials.
Don't forget water, waste bags, and anything else your pet may need to stay comfortable.
💛 5. Relax and enjoy the moment.
Pets take their cues from you. When you're calm and having fun, they're more likely to feel the same.
The best photographs come from real moments—not perfect ones. Together, we'll create a session that's relaxed, joyful, and focused on celebrating your pet just as they are.
