We are heading into Mother’s Day weekend and it feels like a good time to share some big news! After much consideration, I have decided to close this photography business. Samantha Ludlow Photography was born out of a desire to capture real moments and preserve them for families. As my own family has grown, my business has grown and adapted with it. Now, as we have entered into the role of foster parents (in addition to raising our own three kids), I feel the need to be fully present at home with them. I’m greatly looking forward to a summer with weekends spent home with my own family! After all, “The greatest work you will ever do is within the walls of your home.” While I do hope to reopen this business in the future, for the present time I will not be taking new inquiries. I am SO grateful to all of you who invested in this business over the years! THANK YOU! Photo:

Meet the newest addition to our family! Penny is such a sweetheart and we are totally smitten. I’ll be spending a lot of the off-season this year working on puppy training. It’s definitely more work than I thought it would be, but so fun! There are still a few pups from her litter that are looking for homes. Message me if you want more info!

Alex and Austin chose to have family photos in Cazenovia while they were visiting this summer! They turned out so beautifully!
