24 hours in Tokyo. Unfortunately our flight was delayed nearly two days, so our time in Tokyo was cut short, but we certainly made the most of the time that we had. Up at 3:30 and 30,000 steps was quite the way to start our Honeymoon. Luckily for me is an exceptional travel partner and kept me moving when my legs started cramping.

We were fortunate to be staying in Asakusa during the Sanja Matsuri festival. Not planned, but a lucky coincidence. This day produced some of my favorite memories and photos to document, maybe ever.

Although the trip was delayed, we luckily planned for over three weeks in Japan. We’re currently in a small coastal town in the Izu Peninsula. More to come.

The Oregon coast is one of my favorite places in the world and I’ve been lucky to explore its beaches and trails many times.

Here are some images that I took this past weekend.

New work for . Shoots like this are particularly convenient when your office shares a building with a woodworking shop and talented individuals such as and . Thanks for your time guys and thanks to NoCry for the trust.

One thing to note with much of my photography, even if it’s commercial work is that I strive to capture people authentically in their environments rather than use models. Not always possible, but when I can it’s cool to learn about someone else’s work.

Random frames while hiking around southern utah this past weekend. The warmth of Snow Canyon (pictured first) was appreciated after the 19 degrees and cold wind gusts of Zion the day before, but regardless both were enjoyable and beautiful.
