[College Series #1]

I officially started taking pictures in 2016 as a junior in college (at THEE illustrious ). In 2018, before leaving for Syracuse, I was hired to take pictures at New Covenant United Methodist Church’s service and I was able to take one of my favorite pictures of all time.

I have no idea who these kids were when I took this picture and I have no idea how they are doing. I can’t even put into words what this picture means to me, and I’m sure you have your own interpretations. This was also before I knew how to color correct, but I think that’s part of the beauty 😂🤍

I recently shared this photo with an old friend and it inspired me to post some of my old work, reminding myself of why I got into photography.

No matter how old you are, and regardless of background, school has a funny way of connecting you with some interesting characters. I’m lucky to have made some dope friends through Syracuse University, and even more lucky that they asked me to take their grad pics. Shoutout to the class of 2026!
