I have always had a love for photography and after many years of people telling me I should do this, I am finally going to give it a try. I have a small studio for children in my house otherwise, I can do families and older kids outside. What I hope to accomplish is to capture a moment in time whether it be a funny look, an expression or to get your child's personailty to shine through. I would li

I'm a big believer of signs from the universe or from above. I have taken photos in this spot well over 100 times in my photography career, and understand natural light and how it moves very well. However, on this day I was shocked to see the natural light on the front of her instead of as back light. This spot tradtionally creates a very similar look for all my shoots with backlight. BUT on this day the day that had to be rescheduled once, and it was the night before her birthday, it was different and IMO her Dad made his presence from above and lit her up beautifully on her face instead of her back.... I will always believe it was birthday wishes from her Dad at her senior shoot.
