All kinds of people walk this earth with different styles of managing life, friendships, and even businesses.

Me? 100% Type B personality. Queen of procrastination. Minimal planning with the mindset that somehow… it all works out.

So why am I talking about my personality?

Because this photo right here? I had zero intentions of capturing it. I knew the location and had a few spots in mind from being there before, but I had no idea these flags would be there.

On a whim, we wandered over to a different area and suddenly came across rows and rows of flags.

Some photographers are super meticulous with planning locations, lighting, and backdrops. I’ve tried that… and somehow I always end up feeling creatively stuck. These days, I trust the universe a little more and do just enough scouting to guide me.

And honestly? Some of my favorite images happen completely unexpectedly.

This past week included 2 cap/gown sessions, a mini senior sesh, a prom shoot, and a wedding. And that is just one of my businesses that I am juggling. Forever thankful for all the support… all the tears and worries are finally paying off. If anyone ever thinks they are quitting a 40 hour week career for less working hours when operating a business is delulu. Wouldn’t trade this madness to have to answer to someone else 😂
