Running out of SD cards, my iMac is about 90% full, and I’m still out here shooting almost every night. 😅🍂

I am editing every day, but between studio sessions during the day and outdoor sessions almost every evening, the sneaks and galleries are starting to fall behind a little. With less than two weeks of decent weather and sunsets before 5pm, I’m going to keep shooting while we can and I'll catch up on the editing eventually!

Holiday Minis are booking!

If you’ve been meaning to get your holiday photos on the calendar, here’s your reminder! I have two Christmas studio sets this year, with something a little different for each.

🤎 Christmas Morning – for families who want cozy, vintage-inspired Christmas photos.

❤️ Merry Mugshots – just for the kids, with a little Christmas fun mixed in!

My main holiday mini weekend is November 27, 28 + 29. This is my first year trying the longer Thanksgiving weekend so I can offer more availability.

I also have a few additional dates available:
Wednesday, December 2 – evening
Wednesday, December 9 – evening
Saturday, December 12

Meet Benjamin! 🤍

Following the trend of September babies, Benjamin also thought that sleeping through newborn pictures was overrated! He spent part of his session awake, just staring at me like he was trying to figure out what I was up to. 🤣

Imagine the disappointment thinking you’re booking this set, then showing up and it looks nothing like the AI advertisement. This also goes for photographers promoting mini sessions using another photographer’s photos for “inspiration” (fyi, this is copyright infringement and the photographer can pursue legal action against you).

Not everyone saw my outdoor set for this year since it fully booked via email, but I booked the location for an extra date in September, set up in the rain 🫠 and photographed it for my booking page. I also spent 2 hours setting up my indoor set in the studio, took pictures and video for 5 minutes, and then immediately tore it down. Was it exactly how it will look in November - no, but any differences will be minimal (a fuller tree, maybe adding a wreath or blanket, etc).

Was it inconvenient? Absolutely. But I have always felt my clients deserve to know what they’re booking.
