My first time seeing pink and green pulsing aurora borealis. There was even a small streak of blue (top left)!
Typically pusling aurora are green and dim. They can pulse fast or slow. These were pulsing very fast and bright, which made them easier to capture on video.
Video is real time, as shot except for cropping, text and it was resized down to 1080p (it was shot in 4k).

I didn't realize until just now while processing all the of aurora photos I took this week (over 900!)... but besides the BLUE aurora (on top, mixed with reds it looks more purplish), there is a mama and baby moose at the bottom.

This is basically straight from the camera... while our eyes do not see the color this vividly, it is still amazing to watch the bands dance around and overhead.

My dad's old Nikon lenses for sale (money will go to my step mom to help with expenses:

50mm AF-S 1:1.4 G - some damage around front rim area, but does not effect lens cap/filters or glass

105 macro, a few minor blemishes (none seen on the glass)

Extention tubes - work great with the macro lens (same as what I used for snowflake photos)

Sometimes the aurora swirls in a way that it reminds me of a tornado...

When you see the white on the bottom of the green auroras, it's trying to turn pink... especially when it's dancing fast...

When you see the white on the bottom of the green auroras, it's trying to turn pink... especially when it's dancing fast. The bright pink shows below the green, but the red (often appears more burgundy/purple/wine to the eyes, as it's mixed with the blue skies behind it unless it's unusually dense/bright) appears over the green, often stretching up very high, and not moving very much.
