A HUGE congratulations to Kenz + Fred!!! 🤍
Ever since I met these two, I just KNEW they were going to be together forever, and I have been patiently waiting for this day to come. (Never mind how long Kenz has been waiting! HAHA!)
But the fact that I got to be the one to capture this moment? I will never get over it.
And here comes a little behind the scenes story because this whole thing was TOO GOOD.
Literally moments before this, Kenz and I were down the street doing her branding session for her hair business (KENZ | LIVED IN COLOR | EXTENSIONS | MA you should follow her). The week prior, I asked if she would be down for a “comfy, cozy beach session” while we were near the beach. Without hesitation, she said of course, and THANKFULLY didn’t ask me for inspiration photos because, girl, I had absolutely NONE. 😂
Then she tells me she needs to be home by 6 PM because she has a nail appointment and casually drops, “I think I’m getting engaged in the next few weeks, so I need to be prepared.”
GIRL.
I immediately tracked down her nail artist (shoutout Rhode Island Nail Technician💅🏻 the real MVP) and BEGGED her to cancel Kenz’s appointment and move it to the day before. The behind-the-scenes scheming was REAL.
Fast forward to the beach. I tell Kenz to give me her best model runway walk straight toward me, and suddenly, here comes Fred from behind a tree. Kenz catches a shadow out of the corner of her eye and immediately goes, “Is there someone behind me?!”
AND THEN CAME THE REACTION. 😭🤍
The surprise, the excitement, the realization, the way she looked at him… EVERYTHING. Perfectionnnn!!!
Kenz + Fred, I am SO ridiculously happy for you both. Getting to witness this chapter of your love story and preserve it for you is something I’ll never take for granted. Here’s to forever, to a lifetime of choosing each other, and to the most beautiful next chapter.
