Attention anyone who knows an upcoming Junior or Senior in Southern Illinois!

Lucky River Photography is now casting models for the LRP Senior Rep Team!

Are you a high school Junior or Senior (Class of 2027 or 2028) who loves being in front of the camera with their friends? LRP is officially launching a brand-new Senior Rep Team, and we are looking for models to help build our future team!

We are hosting a group model call to launch our upcoming Senior Rep Team launch, and we are looking for a diverse group of fun, outgoing juniors and seniors to bring the energy.

Mothers say “I don’t know if I can do this.” And then they give birth, hands clenched, bodies torn, hearts cracked wide with the force of new life.

Mothers say “I don’t know if I can do this.” And then they lie stitched and swollen from surgery. An abdominal wound fresh and burning, still lifting a car seat with one hand and a baby in the other.

Mothers say “I don’t know if I can do this.” And they bleed for weeks while healing from a body split open, all while whispering lullabies with milk leaking through their shirts.

Mothers say “I don’t know if I can do this.” As they continue pushing through let downs, engorgement, and soreness. And before they know it they’re on year 2 of breastfeeding.

If you’re a new mom of 1 or a new mom of 5, when people say time is a thief and it goes fast
 believe them! As I’m coming to the end of my baby’s first year out of the womb, it’s hitting hard.

She’s my last.

My last baby smell.
My last nursing journey.
My last baby rolls.
My last tiny fingers.
My last itsy bitsy toes.
My last season of sleepless nights.
My last firsts.

My last first birth.
My last first smiles.
My last first laughs.
My last first roll overs.
My last first sitting ups.
My last first “we got a tooth!”.
My last first words.
My last first one year milestones.

Do not wait around to document these little moments. The tiny baby hairs on their ears, their little noses, the wrist creases, and anything in between.

Whether you hire me to document these moments for you or someone else, just do it. These photos will seem more like a necessity than a luxury pretty soon.

We get 9 months of a pregnancy, 3 months with a newborn, 1 year with a baby, 4 years of a toddler, and 9 years with a child. Time is a thief and I want to help you preserve as many moments as possible.

Story telling during sessions is a must for me. Will these be photos you choose to hang on your wall? Maybe not but they’re a must have in telling the story of the day.

Detail shots are a favorite for me. Whether my clients feel the same or not, I will always take the time to document the little things. Little hands and feet, the curls in their hair, up close of kids and parents hands. They’re all important parts to my lifestyle photography.
