With attic spaces above tall ceilings, climbing ladders and connecting scans can be challenging. With clamps, bungies and a solid modified mini tripod, we made it work. In the end the project delivered with third party drone point cloud collaboration from Northeast 3-D for a complete interior/exterior point cloud of this massive mansion, carriage house & garage. It will be modeled in Revit by the architect.

Here is an unconventional 3D Virtual Tour. It's my garden, my sanctuary. The metal edged stone dust paths were created by Reimagined Roots. They also installed my existing trellises.

There are May and July scan points to go forwards and backwards on time.

Guaranteed Fitness Center in Spencer has a challenging space to capture... mirrors everywhere!
Choosing the camera positions and where to hide from said camera adds many steps to the 3D Virtual Tour capture process. There are some unavoidable places, so the Pro3 did have a few cameos.

If you or an architect you know still measures an existing property by hand please tell them about illustraVisions scanning services. What we produce is a traceable, measurable point cloud. Revit, or other CAD modelers use what's called an .rcs or e57 file to trace a digital twin - a virtual reality representation of existing structure. We often scan with accurate Leica BLK360 G2, then scan with a Matterport camera to create the armchair virtual tour visit. We also have 3rd party providers to create existing structure revit models to jump start your process.The following home is an interior only scan, and the photos you see are viewed through the free desktop Leica TruView app.

Over the past 2 years, Illustravisions has shifted away from providing video to providing Matterport Virtual Tours and Laser scanning. With the fantastic connections through the invite-only network Reality Capture Experts (RCE), we can provide accurate point clouds of full interior/exterior structures which are the basis for CAD models.
In tandum with virtual tours, our documentation products minimize measurement revisits while enhancing visualizations for trades that will do the renovation work.
The Architects for whom we have worked our magic rarely go back to hand measuring.
AI is rapidly changing/improving this field like defurnishing spaces and creating new deliverables

Experimenting with retouching 360 photos. There are sometimes where there inconvenient mirrors capturing the camera... in reality capture as in other photography, one tries NOT to get the camera in the shot, but geometry forces one to place it in an obvious spot.
No camera in this shot (anymore).
