This is one of my favorite WWII images. The background was taken during the London blitz by a fire warden. The building in the background still exists today, it's on Chelsea Street.

Here's one of the new photos I've been working on. The top is the original Civil War glass negative. 33 layers and quite a few hours later is the colorized/restored version on the bottom. I'll post the final image tomorrow.

The prints are at the lab, mat board is waiting to be cut - I'm almost ready for this weekend's art show at Civil War Days at Old Falls Village. Below is a bit of what I've been working on. The damage to the 150+ year old glass negative was a bit extensive but well worth the effort to restore. This one ended up being one of my favorites this year.
