TW- pregnancy, loss, grief.

I remember the concept came to me years before I ever captured it on camera. Likely influenced by my own miscarriage in 2009. I am not surprised that others might have this hit close to home. The art style of kintsugi is believed to go back to the late 15th century. All this to say, I am glad to see art being a way to touch our hearts, and help us communicate emotions like little else can. I am forever grateful to my fellow artists that helped me create this image.

It is finally my oldest daughter Sadie's turn for Senior photos! These also count as her 18th birthday photos too. She has worked so hard this year and has blossomed into such an amazing young woman. I look forward to seeing what her future looks like as she prepares to graduate and head to college.
