Hey friends, I want to share something really personal with you.š
After a lot of prayer, reflection, and waiting for Godās timing, Iāve felt itās time to step back from photography to focus on where my heart has truly been calling meābeing a full-time stay-at-home mom. These last 7 years have been a whirlwind of hustle, growth, and learning, and I couldnāt have done any of it without every single booking, every encouraging word, and every lesson along the way. Truly, God has guided me every step, and Iām so thankful for my husband for standing by me through it all, supporting me in ways I canāt even put into words. š
Photography will always hold a special place in my heart. Itās given me friendships, memories, and so many moments I will treasure forever. But the tug to slow down, to be fully present for my family, and to pour into raising my children has been strongāand after much waiting and prayer, I know this is the right season.
For 2026, I will honor all of my current wedding commitments, but I will not be booking new weddings. Iāll still be second shooting and associate shooting, keeping a connection to the craft I love while embracing this new chapter. Sharing my faith has always been deeply important to me, and there have been times Iāve felt limited in how openly I could share it through my business.
Stepping back now gives me the freedom to share my work, my faith, and my journey of motherhood in a way that feels authentic and true to who I am. Who knows what the future holdsāmaybe styled shoots, exploring creative projects, and still tapping into the art of photography in new ways. But for now, my personal business of Olivia Shaner Photography will be coming to a closeš¤
To all of my clients, past and presentāyou have been such a huge part of this journey. Thank you for trusting me to capture your most precious moments, for cheering me on, and for letting me be part of your stories. My work may look a little different from here on out, but I hope it continues to reflect the things that matter most to me: faith, family, and the beauty of everyday life.
Hereās to new seasons, to slowing down, and to the joy of being present where it matters most. āØ
