Hello, hello! You'll find some of my latest work here on my page!

Take a look, like your favorite(s), and comment or message to connect with me, I'd love to talk about how YOU want to be photographed!

When the group coordinates halloween costumes and vibes but you didn’t get the memo. 😆

Give me a senior that knows how to bring it, a place that feels like home to him, and a little off camera flash for a dramatic pop and I’m pretty solid. Congrats on your senior year, K!

Senior photos are definitely still The Thing.

BUT: sweet 16 sessions have been SO popular too! Almost as much as seniors! I loved this one because she wanted to document her friendships. We set a date and she invited her friends to show up. They got individuals, group shots, and went home with some fun memories of that one time they played models in the park with a professional photographer and have photo evidence of the whole thing.

Summer shoots on the coast have been SO different EVERY single time. All my previous clients know I’m watching the weather like a hawk the 48 hours leading up to our session and I come with a shot list and usually a pretty solid idea on which shots to take where based on how the light is sitting.

I also scout out locations WELL beforehand.

All this to say, no amount of prep-work makes coastal sessions predictable. It will always be a different beach every time I go there, it will always be different weather and different light and I love it so much every single time.

If you’re up for an adventure, I have a couple September openings before the holiday sessions take over. :)

I am sending out my first wave of session invitations for my *super limited* family sessions in Utah in November! These will be sent out in the order of interest I had, and I know I won’t be able to book everyone, but I’m going to try my hardest to squeeze people in where I can! :) I can’t wait to chat with you all and see your families again in the fall! :D

Literally gasped out loud this entire gallery through editing. Senior season on the Oregon coast is something else!

Omgosh it has been a WEEK! TGIF, right? Hustling on the editing today, we had some unexpected things come up this week and it’s been such a weird past few days.

Also, it’s wild to show up to a beach session prepared for full, direct sun, only to be met with heavy clouds and fog! These humans did amazing with the chilly temps and cooler tones, and it was sooooo beautiful!

Childhood doesn’t wait. It doesn’t wait for parents feel confident in front of the camera, it doesn’t wait for the last 10lbs to go away, it doesn’t wait for the perfect weather or for stars to align with nap time. Childhood doesn’t wait. So… you probably shouldn’t either. Get those family photos done now, you’ll thank yourself tomorrow.

Throwback to that time when a photographer went camping with her family and ended up pulling fluffy full length dresses out of the spare tire space of the car while walking the dogs. 🤣

What actually happens after your session?

I get something hot to drink (tea, I have a huge tea problem, yall), and then get to sorting your images. The blinking and mid-expression ones are culled out and then I bring each and every individual image into photoshop to polish up. Then it’s brought back into Lightroom, gets a final touch up to ensure consistency and add that last little pop, and then I export based on the needs from the image.

Fact: websites, printing, displaying, and digitally sharing all have different reformatting setting requirements. And each one requires a different type of tea to go with it, too. 😅
