I’m going to share this elopement in multiple parts because it was just SO good! So good that it’s on my blog with tons of tips and info about eloping at Sunset Cliffs. I’ll add a link to my bio so you can check it out!

One of the best pieces of advice I can give to couples considering eloping at Sunset Cliffs is to do it in the winter! I mean we literally had this iconic spot to ourselves for their entire ceremony and it was magical. Plus in the winter the annoying marine layer is typically gone for the year so we’ll have the most gorgeous light for your day ✨

We’re getting into spooky season so I HAVE to share this intimate backyard wedding from last fall!

My absolute favorite part of this wedding was the bride and groom riding the mechanical bull at the end of the night (scroll through to see!!).

I loved the spot I found for golden hour! I went to their neighborhood a few weeks before the wedding and scouted the most beautiful spot a few min from their home for golden hour portraits and they turned out so perfect.

Goes to show you never know if you have the perfect photo spot next door and you just need a skilled photographer to find it 🙃😉

I don’t always post a ton of reception photos (especially a whole post for them) but this one was so memorable!

We rode to the reception at in pontoon boats which was seriously so fun (especially for Tuna 🐶). Then during first dance the bride and groom called Tuna over to dance with them on the dance floor. He’d watched their entire first dance so it was really sweet. We ate lots of tacos, danced and had the best time.

We finished the day taking photos with a freaking soft serve ice cream truck (and eating tons of ice cream obviously) and it was SO good!

These two got married in February and here I am finallly getting around to sharing. I loved This day! We started with a first look then wedding party photos at . After that we went into the lobby for the most fun mid century inspired portraits ever. We then drove over to to get these two married and celebrate for the rest of the night!

One of my favorite parts of this day was when the families put on glasses/mustache masks during the first kiss and when the couple turned around they saw everyone wearing them! I also loved getting to capture some direct flash photos with their venue in the background and the Normal St sign. Such a great day!!
