Kihei is called the South Side of Maui and represents a total area of 11.7 miles. Kihei’s population was 20,881 as of the 2010 census. It’s also home to the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. You may spot large sea turtles resting on the beach and the water is prefect for swimming.
