1 year later 🥹 meet my latest baby plan member graduate. I met his parents about a year and a half ago for their maternity session, then again for his newborn session, and again a few weeks ago for his one year session 🤯 The Baby Plan Membership is perfect for families with a baby on the way! The membership includes 3-4 full sessions starting with maternity all the way to baby’s first birthday 🤍 because of the time I dedicate to each baby plan member, I only hold a limited amount of spots per year. If you live in the Madison area and are expecting a baby this year I’d love to chat with you more about my baby plan membership!

This beautiful maternity session was shared by this morning and that’s when I realized I posted this session in my stories but it never got a permanent spot on the grid. Why? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ probably because I was suffering caption paralysis. But now that we’ve agreed we aren’t holding my captions against me, here we go. This session was photographed in my home studio and her dress was selected from my client wardrobe.

One of my all time favorite sibling duos and they were never posted. 🤦🏻‍♀️ the sibling shot is the one that makes all the mamas swoon (including me) because we see the day to day bickering and snatching and tantrums - it seems impossible to have them sit together nicely if only for one photo and when we get it, it is treasured forever because it’s proof that they really do love each other.

Re-entering this space after an extended absence is a little intimidating. I have been keeping busy in motherhood as well as business but posting here has fallen by the wayside. I have so many sessions to share but I feel I’ve lost my social media voice (I’m not sure I ever really had it). I will start to post from past sessions but let’s not get our hopes up with the captions behind them, deal?

World Breastfeeding Week 🤱🏻 I have so many beautiful things to say about nursing babies but being that I’m still in the thick of it, my brain is too foggy to string together words. Maybe next year.

My favorite ride at Disney is Peter Pan. Why? I would love to tell you. While the line is incredibly long, it’s still part of the experience. It takes you through the home of the Darlings. We get to see the kids rooms which is fun and interactive but my favorite were the family portraits in the hallways. The guys at Disney knew that it wouldn’t feel like home without photos on the wall and I’m telling you they aren’t wrong! I love making your house home with family portraits and delivering this first ever family portrait today is so special!!!

So last week my daughter was “star of the week” at school. One day she brought in her favorite book, one day she brought in her favorite toy, and one day she was asked to bring in a family photo. Lucky for us, we had just got our photos back from Ophelia’s newborn session so we had a complete family photo! Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to have anything printed yet and so I had to find somewhere quick and that was more difficult than I thought! I grew up with disposable cameras and the convenience of being able to have film developed within an hour. It’s not so easy anymore and I think it’s because pictures live on our phones which is super convenient but do they ever get printed??? Let me know in the comments if you have printed photos in your house or if your memories are only accessible by device.
