I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and encouragement since announcing that I’m coming out of retirement.

Your comments and messages have been such a blessing. I’ve been praying for direction for quite some time, and I truly believe God has answered those prayers by giving me a peace about picking up my camera again. Thank you for being part of that confirmation.

Then it hit me…

Some of the babies I photographed as newborns are now in middle school… high school… and even driving.

How did that happen? ❤️

While newborn photography will always be my specialty and first love, I don’t want to stop there.

I also want to capture the child who has discovered their own personality…

The shy smiles, or no smiles.

The serious expressions.

The wild imaginations.

The independent spirit that makes your child uniquely them right now.

As a mom of five and now a grandma, I’ve watched my own children grow up in what feels like the blink of an eye. They’ve graduated, gotten married, moved away, built lives of their own, and welcomed children into the world. Those moments that once felt so far away somehow arrived overnight.

Life has taught me that tomorrow is never promised. Photographs become more than pictures—they become reminders of who we loved, who we were, and the little details we never want to forget.

That’s why I believe every stage deserves to be remembered.

I’m excited to begin offering children’s portrait sessions on location again, and if you’re hoping for family portraits, I’d be happy to talk with you about those as well.

Photography has never been about taking pictures for me.

It’s about preserving a season of life before it quietly slips into the next.

I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE….

I thought I was ready to retire.

After more than 25 years photographing families and over 15 years specializing in newborns, I packed up my studio when we moved to the country. I honestly thought that chapter of my life was over.

I was wrong.

I miss the babies. I miss the families. I miss creating artwork that becomes part of a family’s story.

So… I’m reopening.

Not exactly the way I used to.

Our long-term plan is to build a beautiful studio here on our property. But before we make that investment, I wanted to see if there were still families looking for the kind of newborn experience I’ve spent so many years creating.

Until then…

I’ll bring the studio to you.

Everything comes with me—professional lighting when needed, wraps, blankets, outfits, props, and carefully selected colors. Together we’ll design your session, then transform a space in your home into a temporary newborn studio.

These aren’t rushed sessions.

Baby sets the pace.

If we need to stop to feed, cuddle, soothe, or simply wait for your little one to settle, we do. Some babies are finished in an hour. Others take four. That’s perfectly normal, and that’s exactly why I only book one newborn family per day.

As a mom of five, grandmother to one beautiful grandbaby, and former military spouse, I understand how exhausting those first weeks can be. My goal is for you to feel cared for—not stressed.

Your session costs $0 upfront.

You don’t pay to reserve your session.

After I’ve edited your images, you’ll receive a private online gallery. Purchase only the images you love. Whether that’s one image or the entire gallery, there’s never a minimum order.
