Every senior session has a story.
Before we even left, I stepped into my garden and picked a bouquet of fresh dahlias for Braylynn to hold. Our plan was to photograph her beneath a beautiful willow tree, and we found it... but the light just wasn’t right.
So we kept chasing the sunset. A few minutes later, we stumbled across this dreamy West Virginia field, and the golden light was everything we’d hoped for. Sometimes the best sessions aren’t the ones you plan - they’re the ones where you trust the light and embrace the unexpected. ✨
I’d say this field was exactly where we were meant to be.

Some places have a way of making you slow down.
Some people have a way of making you smile.

This beautiful old church provided the perfect backdrop, but my favorite part of these images is the joy Marlee brought into every frame.

Years from now, I hope these aren’t just photos of a beautiful place…I hope they’re a reminder of exactly who she was in this season of life: joyful, confident, and completely herself.
