Bridals don't have to be a separate session to be worth it.

If you don't want to set aside another day for bridal portraits, I always recommend carving out just a few minutes on your wedding day. You've spent months planning every little detail, and you only get to wear this dress once.

Taking a few intentional minutes to capture you in it is just another part of telling your story. Some of my favorite portraits happen during these quiet moments, and I promise you'll never regret having them.

I've known this family for over half of my life.

I started babysitting the King kids when I was 15, and somehow all these years later, I'm photographing their growing families. I've watched them graduate, start careers, get married, become parents... and now we're squeezing everyone together for extended family photos. It's the sweetest thing.

Travis and Bridgette have been the kind of people who just quietly show up for everyone around them. They've built something really special, and getting to document it means more to me than I can explain.

I definitely cried editing this one. What a privilege it is to watch people you love grow through every season of life, and to be one who gets to help preserve it.
