I’ve decided not to share my Route 66 photos on social media, for lots of reasons which I can get into if people really want to know, but mainly because of the fact that AI is stealing the intellectual property of artists and photographers and corrupting it and spitting it back out as cheap garbage that no one is compensated for. I will still share them privately for those who wish to see, via digital Cloudspot galleries in a link I will email to you. I will create a new Cloudspot gallery for each state/area on the route which will be released at intervals as I get them finished. Right now Chicago is finished. So if you are interested in seeing that batch, private message me your email address or text to 570-847-0033 and I will send a link. Those who have had portrait sessions with me know the drill. I will not do anything with your email address or spam you with garbage. Route 66 was amazing! So much to see every day, it was mind boggling. I look forward to sharing it with you.

Today in NATURE: another 4 pack of weird thermal features in Yellowstone National Park.

The thermal features are a gentle reminder that the park sits on a super volcano that could erupt at any time, an eruption that could potentially take out about 1/4 of the US and an ash fall that could cover almost 1/2 the US.

In the second picture you can see the hoof prints of the buffalo who come to the spring at times. They were not there when I was 😞

Today in NATURE: old fashioned lilac

One of the things I miss about Pennsylvania is the old fashioned lilac that was in the backyard, the smell of the flowers and the little bouquets I could get every spring.
