I heard this place is being torn down. Such a shame something could not have been done with it before it deteriorated so badly. Major fail. St Joe’s Hospital will be next.

These are some photos I took over the years on walkabout with the ICS Art Club kids, 2017-2021. This was a beautiful building in its day.

Fear not, Route 66 fans! The New Mexico section of the route is coming up 🔜

Including the Santa Fe section, there are some 535 miles of Route 66 in New Mexico 😱. In light of that (and the thousands of photos I took there😂) I am breaking the state into 4 regions of photos:
1- Eastern NM including Tucumcari and Santa Rosa/Blue Hole
2- Santa Fe area including Old Town, the Sandia Mountains and Bernalillo
3- Albuquerque area including the Heritage Corridor and Old Town, the Rio Grande and the ghost towns
4- western NM including the vintage town of Gallup and our detour to Shiprock on the way to Mesa Verde in Colorado (the National Parks and 4 Corners area will be a separate photo gallery)

I’m working on all this and will get it out to my subscribers soon!
