I know today is September 1, and I know I’ve promised dates for Christmas Minis to go out today.
But, life has a way of making its own plan.
I went to the football game last night to watch my oldest in the marching band. He performed in the stands, performed on the field for halftime, then came back to the stands as usual. Except this time he was not his usual self. He was folded over and looked so tired. I went to see what was wrong and he said his throat hurt so bad and it hurt to breathe. We left during 3rd quarter to head to the ER. There they ran tests and told us he has Marfan Syndrome and has torn a hole and air is leaking into spaces it shouldn’t. So we were transferred by ambulance to CHKD. He is being held overnight to monitor and run more tests.
So I say all that to say this, I might not be home in the morning as I had planned to send out all of the messages I need to for all of you. I’m sorry, I promise I will get to it as soon as I am back to my computer. Thank you for your patience. ❤️
