You should meet Jose, the drive he has and the “I’ll get it done” attitude. It’s pretty sick. One look at his lead tracker and you’ll understand why he succeeded month 1. It’s fully filled out. To a T. Constantly checked. He’s on top of everything. He trusted the process we spent the last year building, no questions, just faith and honest input.
This is the real reason I jumped into marketing. For people like this, results like this, shaping real businesses, and real lives.
And at the end of the day you can be just like Jose, hard working, ambitious, entrepreneurial, 10+ years in business, sales skills, trucks, crews, I can go on... But if you can’t get in front of real qualified prospects. It’s over. As simple as that. And that’s what’s terrifying about business, you can be a killer in every area except one, and that’s the difference between achieving all your goals or failing.
Working with Jose over the last month has taught me a lot. I now know the exact type of person I started this for. Someone who wants it. I also know who I didn’t start it for, the contractor that sits down with 20 reasons why it won’t work.
It’s humbling finding out how different people can be from you. I’m an all in or all out kinda guy. So is Jose. But most aren’t. Most are half in half out, and wonder why they haven’t hit their goals for the 5th year in a row.
Let me be real for a sec, the one who wins is the one who says, I’ll do what it takes. That’s why Jose wins, he does just that. He’s open minded, ready to learn, ready to give feedback, and ready to trust the process and system we’ve built.
So ask yourself, are genuinely willing to do that and build the future you want? Or are you going to ignore every sign, every thought, and give every excuse in the book. “I’ll wait until next season, next month, next year”
You can wait as long as you need, the world just ain’t waiting for you. The competition isn’t waiting for you, the guy who wants it more isn’t waiting for you..
