Bristol’s senior session in Egg Harbor was so perfect! We had the best weather and a great evening for a session. We began at the always beautiful Woodwalk Gallery before heading to the beach. Bristol did amazing too!!!

Alaina’s recent senior session was kind of an epic one. We visited a few spots including the beach and a beautiful creek. But the highlight was the family farm when the light and sky made for absolutely stunning conditions. It was a lot of fun to explore these spots!

And Alaina was amazing with her ideas and she did an amazing job posing!

Aleah’s SNEAK PEEK!

It’s been fun to shoot at the gardens this year and we had an amazing evening for Aleah’s recent senior session in Door County.

We also visited a flower field at sunset before heading to the beach for some early twilight photos.

It was a great session and Aleah did great!!

Daylia’s Senior Session in Sturgeon Bay was another good one! We had BEAUTIFUL light as we visited the flower field in full bloom. The mix of sun and clouds gave us a nice variety of light to shoot in. You can’t ask for a better session! When we stopped at the beach just before sunset, the sun fell behind the trees to create perfect soft lighting and the stillness of Lake Michigan gave us a calming backdrop.

It was a great Door County evening. And Daylia did amazing during the whole session!

Faith’s Door County senior session was amazing! We had some amazing spots picked out including a flower garden in Sturgeon Bay, Woodwalk Gallery’s property in Egg Harbor, and a VERY windy Egg Harbor marina.

And Faith did an awesome job too! We had to deal with the windy conditions, but that didn’t stop us from getting photos that turned out great! Towards the end of the session we even embraced the wind for some very lively shots!

Senior season is in full swing and the class of 2027 has been a good one! And Brynn’s recent session was no exception!

We started with some photos at a garden in Sturgeon Bay. Then we headed up to Woodwalk Gallery where they generously allowed us to explore their beautiful property.

Elena and Pedro’s beautiful wedding on the banks of the Mississippi River could not have been a better day! The Confluence Hotel in Hastings, Minnesota hosted the events of the day. This stunning venue is a former factory that has been renovated in to a really awesome boutique hotel.

The couple got ready at the hotel. Elena and her bridesmaids and bridesman got ready in the Soirée Suite while Pedro and his groomsmen got ready down the hall. Once everyone was ready, we headed down to the courtyard for an emotional first look and vow readings. After the first look, we got the entire wedding party to do some photos out by the bridge and riverfront.

The ceremony was beautifully officiated by Elena’s grandfather. It’s always a nice touch to have a close relative or friend officiate! It always means so much! Other special moments included the unity ceremony with vocals sung by Elena’s sister Emily. It was incredible!

After the ceremony, everyone headed inside for some cocktails and mingling in the lobby of the ballroom before heading inside to be seated for dinner. The Confluence Hotel catered the delicious meal.

Finally, it was time to party! Faith from Adagio DJ Entertainment was amazing as she had the dance floor going strong all night! It was a really fun night!

My day ended with some intimate couples photos in from of a gorgeous sunset.

It was such a fun wedding! I was fortunate enough to work with Elena and Pedro to capture their surprise proposal in Door County and full engagement session the following year. To be chosen to capture their day was an honor.

Congrats again to Elena and Pedro!

Not too long ago, Hunter got in touch about something special he was planning. He wanted to bring Kathryn to someplace special while they were visiting Door County. While they were visiting Cave Point, Hunter asked a special question. And she said,”YES!”

Incoming storms would not stop Taylor as he led Maria to Sister Bay for a walk around the marina. It was more than a simple walk together, though. At the end of the pier, among the Door County sailboats, Taylor asked Maria a question. And she said, “YES!”

After a fun wedding in Minnesota, I stopped in Madison this week for another great engagement session.

The Wisconsin State Capitol building is always a really fun place to shoot! There's always moody vibes that can be found. And t's always fun to use the light in fun and creative ways!
