Seven years ago, I set up my tripod for a family photo at one of my dad’s favorite places, with each of us wearing one of his old jerseys.

Tonight, he and a few of his buddies will be inducted into the inaugural West Side Field Hall of Fame, and it feels especially meaningful to look back on moments like this. We’re celebrating him and his friends, sharing memories, and feeling grateful for the impact they had on so many people.
