After their latest family portrait was installed in their Sewall’s Point home, she said, “Thank you, Diane. We love you.”
He said, “Thank you, Diane, for such wonderful work.”
Then he looked at his wife and said, “And I love you too.”
I couldn’t have planned that moment if I’d tried.
Moments like this are one of the reasons I love being a family photographer in Stuart, Florida.
And what I love most about this portrait is that it isn’t just a beautiful photograph. It’s a reflection of the love they share together and as a family, captured in tangible form on the wall.
One of my favorite parts of this work isn’t pressing the shutter. It’s getting to watch families grow, seeing the finished portraits find their place in a home, and sharing moments like this.
After all these years as a family portrait photographer on the Treasure Coast, being invited into people’s lives like this is something I’ll never take for granted.
