So I was watching this Osprey patiently scan the creek from it’s perch, and the very second I look away, it dove down to scoop up a nice trout. That’s usually how it goes 😂 but in this case I experienced a bit of luck.... As it started flying away I figured all hope was lost so I started jogging towards where it was flying with my camera in hand. Sure enough, it circled back and gave me one last glimpse before it disappeared into the trees, so I was able to blindly spray off a few shots. Usually i’d consider this an unethical practice running towards a wild animal but it was a good couple hundred feet away already, flying through the trees, so the only living creature I scared running through the bushes towards the creek was a severely startled fly fishermen. Must have thought I was a black bear or something 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

I was fishing at the old mill the other day and I wasn't getting a single bite and sure enough this Osprey flies overhead showing off his fresh catch. Touché Mr. Osprey.
