We're expecting a little bundle of joy at the end of January!

(Birdie says ANOTHER little bundle since she already is the perfect little puppy.. she is such a handful!)

We had so much fun taking these photos of Skye & Birdie with their precious bandanas. Make sure you zoom in to read Birdie's - it couldn't have been more perfect for her spunky personality!

We're thrilled, especiallllly now that first trimester is over. Little did I expect how the fatigue and nausea of first trimester just took over out of nowhere! Thankfully we are now into our 2nd trimester, and life is MUCH MUCH easier!
We can't wait to meet our little one this winter! 🥳

 It’s been quite the journey as we've been praying about our next steps & thinking of our future. Our time in Wichita has been WONDERFUL, but now that Zach’s Air Force commitment is ending we’ve decided to move closer to our families & southern roots!

✨ 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 — This means I am once again booking weddings in the Jackson, Mississippi area where we started 10 years ago! Tell your engaged friends!

𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲’𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠. There is no doubt in our minds that God led us here. We had no clue anything about the Midwest when we first got our military orders (and were hoping to be sent overseas!) Now I can’t imagine these 4 years anywhere else!

Our couples, our small group, our military friends & coworkers, golf, and the FANTASTIC supportive wedding vendor community has all been standout, especially during Covid when things were tough. Kansas is full of friendly, supportive people, and while we’re excited to be back home, we are going to miss Wichita!

This handsome man of mine had his 31st birthday today! This is the 12th birthday we’ve celebrated together. I remember Zach turning 20 in 2010 -while I was still 18- and thinking man he is OLD! 😆

Zach is quite literally the most amazing, humble, intelligent, adventurous, genuine, fun, and kind hearted person I know. He is super patient (ESPECIALLY during this crazy wedding season!!) and great at all things I am not- so we’re a pretty great team! I can’t imagine life without you. Skye says it would be very dull and boring around here!

Praise Jesus for his blessings and that SPRING IS HERE!! 🙌 Zach & I flew home to Mississippi for a fun filled weekend of weddings + family time!

FRIDAY — THE FLOWERS+RHOADES WEDDING!
Zach & I photographed ’ amazing wedding at ! It was a stunning day with great people. The joy found in Jesus was simply overflowing. Here is a digital sneak peek- all the film goodness to come!!!

SATURDAY — THE HINES+WEEMS WEDDING
Zach & I attended another wedding — this time as a guest for one of my dear high school friends ! It was SO MUCH FUN to get to celebrate (and hand out programs💁‍♀️) with some of my dearest friends! Amazing friends, great band , and delicious food!

SUNDAY— GAME DAY!
While photographing a 10 hour wedding day is fantastic - the next day it kinda feels like I’ve been hit by a truck! So after 2 weddings there was nothing better than sitting in the stands cheering on in Starkville. If you know Zach he has MANY favorite things, but MSU baseball is in his top 5.

After living in our brown Kansas-style house for the past 2 years, I think we need this pink house and wood door next. Or maybe just a pink door at minimum 🥳 and of course, all the plants!

Fun fact — the last place we lived was a historic rowhouse painted a beautiful light BLUE with blue trim! 🙌 It was so perfect for Old Town Alexandria, Va.

Before that, we lived in a Charleston guesthouse that was a very classic white with blue shutters and pink door. Color is very welcome here!
