Look at this sweet boy! Just look at this perfect tiny human! I found out 3/4 of the way through his first portrait session that his momma had experienced two miscarriages before him, almost giving up hope of having another baby. He is his momma and daddy's literal miracle baby boy! I quickly grabbed my rainbow baby props from their drawers and created this special tribute image for them! And would you just look at that smile he gave me!?! 🥹 I absolutelyLOVE capturing meaningful memories for my sweet clients! So honored to capture this bit of their story! 🌈❤🥹

This month we celebrate Pregnancy after Loss Awareness Month!

March is known for being the month we celebrate those who are pregnant after a loss, be it miscarriage, still birth or infant loss. Having experienced an early term miscarriage myself I know how complex, and difficult it can be to navigate and heal from such a loss.

If you or someone you know has previously miscarried or experienced a still birth or infant loss and are now expecting I want to help tell your story! I love incorporating items into my sessions that bring awareness to the loss and is unique to your story. Your little one may be not in your arms but they will always be in your heart and are certainly NOT forgotten!

I am now booking April- June Maternity and Newborn Portrait sessions. There is something bitter sweet when you are expecting baby #2,3,4..... You are so excited and anxious to meet the new little love you are carrying and yet painfully aware things will change drastically for your first baby once they arrive! You take more time pouring all your love into your first babe while they are still your "baby". You wonder and hope they don't feel less important or less loved once their sibling arrives. You squeeze them a little tighter, you rock them a little longer, you snuggle them a bit more. For this reason, when you include your little one in your maternity session I always try my best to get some special moments captured of you with your first little baby. As well as a photo of your soon to be "big kid" all by themself, because these moments are fleeting and things are changing all too fast!
