Success doesn't happen overnight.

It's built through years of hard work. Early mornings. Long practices. Supportive coaches. A family who loves and believes in you. And Determination to keep showing up.

As one of the original board members of the Shenandoah Valley Elite Wrestling Club, it has been an incredible privilege to watch SOO MANY young wrestlers grow through this sport. Seeing one of those young wresters National Stage is something our entire community can celebrate.

When we planned her session, we wanted to tell her story.

Some sunsets can't be predicted. They can't be recreated. And they certainly can't be generated. They happen in a moment.

As a photographer, I watch the weather, study the light, scout locations, and have a plan. So when Mother Nature decides to paint the sky like this, I’m ready.

This session was especially meaningful because I've had the privilege of photographing this amazing young man since he was a young boy. Watching my clients grow up is one of the greatest gifts of this profession.

Attention CLASS OF 2026
On Graduation Day! Look your BEST!! Here at the studio, Denise Jane Portrait Design, INC, I see these common confusions each year. You worked hard for this. Take some pride in your appearance. Besides, when you look good your feel good!

-Steam your gown to remove stubborn creases and wrinkles.

-The cap (mortarboard) should be parallel to the ground! ALWAYS Flat on your head. Roughly one inch above your eyebrows.
NOT, I repeat NOT tilted on the back of your head!
It’s just one ceremony graduates, wear it correctly.

-The elastic goes in the back.

-BEGIN with the tassel on the the RIGHT. Move it to the LEFT after you receive your diploma.
