Good morning!!! I have been thinking about this announcement for a bit. I have stepped back and taken a break from photography and it helped me come up with this decision. I am no longer doing family photos, senior, wedding, etc. I love photography but I pursued it so much that I turned it into a job and lost some of the joy it brought me.

Don’t worry though, I will still be doing photography…but I am shifting my focus. I found a new love (a while ago quite honestly) in photographing current events (rally’s/protests etc), funerals, and the occasional fire scenes that I am able to make it to. I love the non posed photography and the chance to capture true emotion. I love when I can use my photos to tell a story or showcase one’s hard work.

Those of you that already have me booked for this year, I am still keeping my word and doing your photos and I will still put all my heart and soul into it. I will not be booking anymore photo sessions though.

I appreciate those of you that have trusted me with capturing those special moments for you and I love you all!

I have been MIA from the photography side of things for a bit and I’ve missed you all! I just had to step away and refocus on some things. I’ve also changed things up a bit 🙃 I’ll update y’all on that soon.

What really brings me to post today is….IT IS SPOOKY SEASON! 😂💀👻🎃 If you are wanting to add a little twists to family photos, photos with you friend, kids photos, or even just have a fun session for you and make them Halloween/Spooky themed…let’s do it! It can be ghost, pumpkin head, or really anything you can think up. I’ll help bring it to life.

For years now I’ve been volunteering to photograph funerals and it’s definitely not something I ever thought I would do. I love that I can give the families photos of the service and honors their family member receives. I seriously love what I do.

Recently, I had a family I had taken photos for in the past reach out to me to photograph a funeral for their loved one and they are allowing me to share these photos. My intention for sharing these is to let everyone know that I am available to do this for you as well and show you some of my work. If you ever have a funeral for a loved one and there are any type of honors being done, let me capture those special moments for you.

The first funeral I ever photographed was my very own grandfathers funeral with military honors and they are photos I will cherish forever.

Just finished this wedding from early October. This wedding meant so much to me. It took place at one of my old "homes" where I made a lot of memories growing up and my beautiful cousin got married! I got to see family that I haven't seen in a long time and revisit a place that helps me remember my Grumpy Grandma. Congrats to the bride and groom.

The last month has been CRAZY busy with weddings and photo sessions and I am so grateful for it. I get bored when there is lack of chaos in my life so in the middle of my busiest photography time, I switched back to night shift at my full time job AND decided to go back to school for my Bachelors in Nursing. So I just want to tell everyone that is expecting photos from me that I appreciate your patience as I adjust my sleep schedule and my "photo editing" schedule. I love you all!

I have one more wedding and 2 photo sessions left to edit and then I will be all caught up! I am working SUPER hard to get everything done in a timely manner. I promise, the wait will be worth it.

I love when photography allows me to see old friends and I get the chance to meet their Best Friend ❤️❤️ I enjoyed all the laughter and smiles during todays session.

Anyone that has had photo sessions or weddings earlier this month….it’s been a crazy and busy one (which is good!) I have one more session tomorrow then I’ll be living in front of my computer to get photos out to everyone asap ❤️ Thank you everyone for your patience!
