I am honored to share that my upcoming exhibition, The Ties That Bind Us, has been featured by Boston Art Review as one of “Ten Boston-Area Gallery Shows to Catch This Summer.”

This exhibition is deeply personal to me. Through black-and-white portraiture and observational imagery, The Ties That Bind Us explores family, identity, intimacy, cultural influence, and the emotional connections that shape who we become.

Thank you to Boston Art Review and writer Jacquinn Sinclair for seeing and affirming the heart of this work. This line especially moved me:

“The work pushes audiences to pause long enough to bear witness.”

That is exactly what I hope these images invite people to do.

“Surrounded By Love II” has been selected as a Merit Award Winner in the 2026 National Council on Aging Photography Award Contest under this year’s theme, “Stronger Together.”

This portrait holds deep personal meaning for me because it brings together three generations of my own family. My mother, my niece and her husband, and their daughter, in a moment of love, support, lineage, and connection.

I am especially honored by this recognition because the image speaks to something I believe deeply: strength is often found in the people who hold, support, and surround us.

Photography, for me, has always been more than image-making. It is memory-keeping.

Thank you to the National Council on Aging for this meaningful recognition.

One of my favorite things about doing exhibitions is being able to dedicate them in memory of people I love, who have influenced me in one way or another, that are no longer here.

My current exhibition is dedicated to my big brother from another mother, Lance "Skeeta" Bovill who passed away last year. He was so proud of me. I miss him so much.

I’m so excited that the day has finally arrived.

In Plain Sight is now open at the Stoughton Public Library.

This exhibition encourages a deeper awareness of the present and a renewed appreciation for the beauty that exists all around us.

The work reflects moments we see or live every day but do not always stop to take in. Inanimate objects, quiet moments, gentle gestures, the connections that shape us - moments that are often overlooked.

I would love for you to experience it.
