Just a little bit about how Constance and I have worked together- she came to my studio last February for a mini branding shoot. She knew she was going to have some things coming up where she would need some professional photos that would match her level of expertise. I don’t know if she knew how much use she would get out of the photos, but they have been used for everything from Magazine to Times Square!!

If you are putting off getting professional photos, don’t! Having them ready before you need them is such a smart way to go so that you’re not rushed, left scrambling to get some good images at the last minute. And this way you get to enjoy your moment rather than feeling stressed about it.

As a brand photographer, I’m always chasing the perfect light — but here’s the thing, and sorry for the cheesiness 🙂

The most beautiful light isn’t what's shining on someone - it's what is shining 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 someone.
Even as I write this, I know it sounds so corny, but I have seen it time and time again!

When you’re living in your purpose and building a business and a life you love, there is just a light that radiates from you, and when that's happening, well those are the most beautiful images that I can ever capture.

So today, on International Day of Light, I’m celebrating the women who are living their purpose and letting that light shine through them!

The image I'm sharing here isn't perfect. I 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 the focus. But it's still one of my favorite images because of the light you can feel coming from Ali as she is caught up having fun on the swing and just enjoying in the moment. And there is nothing more beautiful than that! And yes, she is in a formsl gown and heels!

With a passion for children, families and capturing the moment, I am a Long Island based photographer that specializes in children photography. My outdoor/indoor studio is located in the Three Village town of Stony Brook.

I want your experience to be a comfortable and peaceful one. That's why the studio has been designed as a place that is easy going and nature centered. Everything in our indoor studio as well as our outdoor garden studio is meant to be explored by touch, smell and sound. It is during this time of fun and relaxed exploration that the most expressive portraits are taken.
