Moments from the Team Retreat 🌿
The retreat kicked off in Atlanta with a panel at Brewery, where ReFED President .gunders moderated a conversation with , , and on how different organizations are tackling food waste across the supply chain, from the farm to the plate. It was an inspiring way to set the tone for the days ahead, bringing together diverse voices from across the food system to explore real solutions to food waste.
The remainder of the retreat took place at , a biophilic community outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Biophilic communities are designed to strengthen the connection between people and nature through thoughtful planning, green spaces, and sustainable architecture. is known for its beautiful farmland, walkable design, and commitment to environmental stewardship.
Over the following days, the team gathered for organization-wide strategy sessions and smaller breakout groups. We spent time collaborating, sharing ideas, and enjoying the serenity of our surroundings. It was a wonderful experience to come together in an inspiring place and focus on collective growth. 🌾✨
