About Cradle & Bloom

Fiber Artist & Photographer | Portraits and Pieces Meant to Be Passed Down

At Cradle & Bloom, I believe in honoring the quiet strength of motherhood and the legacies we build with our hands and hearts. This space is the merging of two lifelong passions—photography and fiber art—woven together with care, intention, and story. My work is rooted in the belief that the most beautiful things are often the most fleeting: the weight of a newborn on your chest, the warmth of a growing family, the sacred ordinary moments that shape us. Whether captured in soft light through my lens or stitched lovingly by hand, these memories deserve to be preserved and cherished. As a fine art photographer, I specialize in maternity and family portraits with a lifestyle-inspired, documentary feel—images that feel lived in, not posed. And as a fiber artist, I create handmade pieces that carry soul, texture, and meaning—whether it’s a custom wall hanging, newborn wrap, or heirloom keepsake. It’s a promise: to cradle your memories with care, and to celebrate the seasons in which we all bloom.

I miss taking photos of horses. Thank you Jocelyn for letting me practice! And what a perfect day to do these on 9/25 for the DOLLY and national daughters day!

Melanie | Class 0f 2027

When Melanie reached out, she had a full vision of elegant white pillars, white attire, florals, and the beach, her favorite place to be. Had such an amazing time working with Melanie and cannot wait to show more of this gorgeous senior session

Somewhere beyond the athlete, behind the hours of practice, behind the coaches who have pushed you is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back.
