The Trail of Tears Art Show gallery exhibition comes to an end tomorrow, and I’m incredibly proud to have had both of my submissions accepted out of the shows record applications.

To see photographs that I captured hung alongside incredible indigenous artists works was and still is just surreal and an absolute honor.

Wado to everyone who visited, supported, and connected with the works.

This experience reminded me to trust my creative eye, and reiterated my respect for the stories I’m called to capture. 💘

What I am trying to be is intentional about the experience I give every single person who steps in front of my camera.

I put countless hours into contracts, websites, clear communication, a consistent but evolving editing style, and a reliable process from start to finish. Some people feel awkward in front of a camera. I get that because I’ve felt that way too.
