I’m paying attention to how you see yourself.

One of the most important parts of my job has nothing to do with my camera.

It’s listening.

Before and during a session, I’m paying attention to the things you love, the things you're nervous about, and the way you talk about yourself.

Because the goal isn't to create a version of you that feels unfamiliar.

It's to help you see what everyone else already sees.

The confidence.
The warmth.
The joy.
The strength.
The connection.

The photos you fall in love with are rarely about perfect hair, perfect outfits, or perfect poses.

They're the ones that feel like you at your very best.

And helping you see that version of yourself?

That's one of my favorite parts of what I do. 💛

If I could have one day all to myself, I’d start the morning with a slow cup of coffee, and journaling in a warm patch of sunshine. ☕️✨

I’d spend the afternoon by the water, headphones in, listening to a good podcast with nowhere else to be. 🌊🎧

And the evening? Comfy pants, curled up on the couch, completely unwinding.

That’s not to say I don’t LOVE being a photographer. Truly- doing work I love means so many of my days already feel pretty special and like a vacation. But sometimes it’s still fun to dream a little.

That's one of the reasons I chose "consistency" as my word of the year.

It's easy to feel motivated when something is new. What's harder - and more important - is continuing to show up, even when progress feels slow or unseen.

The small things done consistently have a way of becoming big things over time.

Fun Fact Friday!

Your posture changes your confidence before it changes your photo.

One of the first things I notice during a session isn’t your smile - it’s how you’re holding yourself.

The moment your shoulders relax, your posture opens up, and you stop trying so hard… everything shifts.

You look more confident because you feel more confident.

That’s why I gently guide posture throughout a session in a way that feels natural, not stiff or overly posed. Small adjustments can completely change the energy of an image.

The goal was never perfection.

It’s helping you feel comfortable enough to let your real personality come through.
