Sometimes the biggest giants leave us far too soon. The passing of Kyle Busch at just 41 years old is a devastating blow to everyone who loves motorsports.
Digging through my archives today, it hits hard realizing we won't see that fierce, legendary number 8 battling it out on Sundays, or his micro sprint tearing up the dirt on weeknights. Kyle was a once-in-a-generation master of horsepower. He is the only driver in history to secure at least 60 wins in all three of NASCAR's top divisions, but his heart belonged to any track with dirt or asphalt.
From winning the historic Prelude to the Dream at Eldora against the sport's biggest names, to trading sliders on local dirt tracks and conquering the Micro Sprint ranks at Millbridge, his relentless pursuit of greatness never stopped. He gave everything to the fans, to his family, and to the sport.
Keeping Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, and Kurt in my thoughts today. Thank you for letting us capture your greatness, Kyle. You will never be forgotten. 🙏🏁
