Where We Riding T?

Where We Riding T? Motorcycle Riding Philanthropist living life to the fullest! If I don't do it, who will? My charity of choice is Kickin Childhood Hunger. Your Riding Writer, "T"

We raise funds to buy weekend food sacks for children in Stillwater OK. Where We Riding T is a page created out of that question I get asked very often. I enjoy riding motorcycles alone as well as with others. I've created and led multi state women's rides and events since 2009. This page will help me share rides and destinations that I'm sure you'll enjoy; published works that I've written; fundr

aising efforts for charities; product reviews; fun and interesting quirkiness; and preparation for a dream ride I am doing in 2024. I will be riding the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge in August 2024 while raising $75,000 for Kickin' Childhood Hunger. Meeting this goal will supply at least 10,000 weekend food sacks for children under 18 years of age. That is one food sack every mile of my 10,000 mile Hoka Hey ride! Thank you for following our page! Keep her upright and wound tight!

Im a midwest country gal. Ive never considered what a ride in New York would be like. Maybe I ignorantly thought it would be filled with traffic and city folks. Maybe Id never really thought about it! But on about the 12th day of the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge, I found myself riding near New York City and this is the result! Beautiful!

Something Super Special

As soon as we register, agree to terms, are reminded of the hazards ahead and receive our updates on the current years ride rules, we receive a hand shake that includes a hidden gem. Our Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge Challenge Coin with our ride number engraved on it. While its a metal stamped coin to the average person, it signifies the beginning of a commitment to a journey of body, mind and spirit unlike any journey I've taken. I have cherished my coin since I received my first one from event coordinator, Beth, in 2024. Receiving my second one from my friend Junie took on a new cherished feeling.

Each coin contains the year's theme, art and the current year's ride logo. The opposite side has the Hoka Hey logo on it containing the meaning of Hoka Hey "It's a good day to die." My interpretation of this is, if you've given your all and committed to the good life including honesty, integrity, respect and compassion, you should be pleased, resolved and at peace in each and every moment. If my last day is today, Ive lived this life right.

HOKA HEY my friends!

Eat it up!

Funny Times on the Hoka Hey?

We ride as long during the 24 hour day as we can to put miles behind us. This leaves little time for fuel, sleep and eat. I snack the whole time but on this day, I needed food! I was charging hard after being off the bike 4 times and nearly 48 hours for brake repairs. A girl has to eat!
.and I still lost about 10 pounds in the 17 days I rode.

Day ONE of the 2026 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge took me back to my roots where I learned to ride as a child the hills and beautiful curves of Missouri. This video was shot near Gainesville MO. Mauricio Pelaez or Daryl Hippie Thompson was behind me at the time. He and I rode many miles near one another on that first day out of Woodstock. Our route took us South first. We were part of group 2. The weather was slightly warm, no wind, no rain and my throttle was twisted for the plan I had for my 2026 finish. The finish time didnt go as planned, but the first 4 days went perfectly as I had hoped. About as smooth as this recorded run. Enjoy the curves!

Sleep Beside Your Bike

While participating in the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge,I am required to sleep beside my bike. We cannot sleep inside. So...where do I sleep? I try to sleep at churches, small office buildings, American Legion or VFW, Fire dept or police dept. Campgrounds are permissible if you happen to find one at the time you're ready to bed down.

I only used my tent one time in this 2026 challenge. I usually laid down fully dressed in my gear, or take my jacket off and lay on top of it. I

We do our best to stay safe. ==
Here are some pics of my sleeping spots.
