I'm enjoying being snowed in today and going through the photos from Jay and Julia's engagement session yesterday. I hope you can tell from the photos how much fun this session was! We love Jay and Julia and being able to be a witness to how much they love each other and center it all around their love for Christ. We're glad that their May wedding is coming so fast!

While most people wait for warmer months, some couples lean into the soft, glowy light and the unique beauty that only winter can bring.

This season has already brought so many incredible couples into our 2026–27 calendar, and it’s been such a joy watching them choose dates and experiences that truly reflect who they are — even if that means braving February weather for engagement sessions and wedding days.

An evening that felt unhurried, full of laughter, and grounded in something deeper than just photos.

This season of engagement is sacred — a pause before the vows and the lifelong yes and we love that the engagement session celebrates that. Our time together was less about the photos and more about creating space to enjoy this season and be present with one another.
