A few days late sharing these, but after spending the weekend behind the camera and sorting through thousands of photos, I think you'll understand why.
Point Pride was such a beautiful reminder of why I love photography. I had the privilege of capturing so many moments filled with love, joy, laughter, connection, and people simply being themselves. Every smile, every hug, every celebration felt meaningful.
This year, Pride felt especially important to me. With everything happening politically, documenting our community felt like more than just taking pictures. It felt like preserving a moment in time—a reminder that q***r people exist, love, celebrate, support one another, and deserve to live openly and authentically. There is so much beauty in that.
I've always believed that everyone deserves the same rights and freedoms, even if the way they live, love, or express themselves looks different from the way I do. Pride is a celebration of that freedom, and I am grateful to have been there to witness and document it.
These are just a few of the many photos I captured throughout the weekend. I'll be sharing more images over the next couple of weeks as I continue working my way through them, so if you'd like to see more from Point Pride, make sure you're following my page and keep an eye out for future posts.
To everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, organized, and celebrated—thank you for allowing me to tell a small part of your story through my lens. ❤️🏳️🌈
