It’s always fun when our seniors bring us to a personal property for their session, and even more fun when we get to see them (and their families 😉) fret over what we decide to use!

Gavin brought us to his grandparents’ property, where Grandma was a little mortified that we wanted to use the old chicken coop. But that chicken coop? GOLD in our eyes!

We found so many other fun little spots as we wandered around the property, but one of our favorite parts was showing Grandma the back of our camera. Her initial “you want to use THAT?!” quickly turned into a few “ohhh, I like that!” comments when she saw her grandson against some of those unexpected backdrops. ❤

We love finding the beauty in the places that feel ordinary to you!

A beautiful, cloudy and breezy day for Riley, and honestly, the perfect kind of weather for photos! We had so much fun photographing this young lady and all of her personality. We’ve been loving getting to know and capture so many awesome seniors this summer! ❤️

Lily's senior session took us all around UWSP, and we had so much fun finding one amazing backdrop after another. From quiet corners to beautiful campus views, every stop fit her perfectly.

Another wonderful senior session in the books!

We wandered through Schmeeckle Reserve with Maddison before wrapping up her session with a few track and field photos. We had such a great time getting to know both Maddison and her mom, Alissa. And a special shoutout to Alissa for helping us bring out those genuine, natural smiles from Maddison. Those little moments always make our job even more fun. Thank you ladies!

Between fishing, football, and lacrosse, Zach definitely keeps busy. It was fun getting to hear about everything that keeps him on the move. Whether he was serious or cracking a smile, his personality came through in every part of the session.

Senior sessions are always about so much more than photos.

Getting to watch someone settle in, grow more comfortable, and let their personality shine is one of our favorite parts of the experience. Kate was no exception. She started the session with quiet confidence, and by the end we were all laughing as her goofy side came out. Those last few minutes always seem to create some of our favorite moments.

We love getting these experiences with our seniors and capturing the version of themselves that their friends and family know so well. Thank you, Kate, for trusting us with such a special season of your life. We had so much fun with you!

When Natalie invited us to her family's property, we knew it would be special but it exceeded every expectation. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, breathtaking views, and the sweetest company. From spending time with her beautiful horses, playful goats, and adorable bunnies, to seeing the many awards she's earned through years of hard work and dedication, it was clear just how much passion and heart she pours into caring for her animals.

Natalie is truly one of the kindest, sweetest, and most motivated young ladies we've had the pleasure of photographing. Her love for animals shines through in everything she does, and it was an honor to capture this exciting season of her life.

Thank you, Natalie, for welcoming us into your world and allowing us to tell a small part of your story. We had such a wonderful time, and we can't wait to share more from your beautiful senior session!

Katla and Payton invited us out to her grandparents' property for their engagement session, and what a special place it is. It's also where Payton got down on one knee and asked Katla to spend forever with him, making it the perfect place to capture this season of their lives.

Acres upon acres of beautiful native prairie stretched around us, creating the dreamiest backdrop for an evening spent wandering trails, laughing together, and soaking in the quiet beauty of the land.

Jeremy was absolutely in heaven. If you've ever met him, you know he could spend hours talking about native plants, so this session was right up his alley.

The thing that stood out most, though, was knowing that this landscape didn't happen by accident. It exists because of years of care, patience, and hard work by Katla's grandparents. Their dedication has created something truly remarkable, and it certainly didn't go unnoticed.

Thank you, Katla and Payton, for sharing such a meaningful place with us. We loved getting a glimpse into a piece of your story, and we're so excited to celebrate alongside you on your wedding day!
