I got to edit today.

I haven't said that in MONTHS.

Something that I think I took for granted.

When we opened our Fond du Lac location, I thought I'd devote a couple months to focusing on the restaurant. I definitely miscalculated how CHAOTIC like would be but alsohow much I'd miss this until I got to hold my camera again.

The way everything else just disappears when it's me and my camera. The endless to-do lists, the stress, the noise. It's honestly like therapy for me. My hyperfocus and imagination get to run wild, and for a little while, it's just me telling someone else's story.

I'm so thankful I found something that I truly love to do.

This year won't look like what my normal used to be, but it feels really good to be back, even if it's just a little bit.

Anywho, my first session back was with the beautiful Katie, who found out she was pregnant right after our last session together! Thank you for your patience as I disappeared into restaurant life for a bit. Last time I saw you, there was no baby... and now your sweet little babe is already here making me look like I took a decade-long break! 😄🥰❤️

⬇️ 📸 ready to have a downtown Stevens Point photography studio? 🤍

I’m looking for the right photographer/tenant to share my downtown studio starting April 1st. The space is fully furnished. I’ve put so much time, love, and money into making it beautiful and client-ready. I really don’t want to give up this space that built me into the photographer that I am today.

Natural light and artificial light options, and you would have full-time access! I truly only take 1-2 sessions a week and 90% are in my home studio.

Space can also be used for yoga, womens circles, content creators!

My husband and I are opening our second restaurant in Fond du Lac, so I won’t be taking on much this year while we get that fully staffed and running smoothly.

EEEK I’m so happy I get to share these!! 🤍❄️

I had the honor of photographing the most intimate winter wedding, and it truly filled my heart in the best way.

Snow was falling, lanterns and twinkle lights softly glowing, and a romantic fire keeping us warm just enough to make the cold fade into the background. Were we freezing? Yes. Did it matter? Not one bit.

This was one of those moments where love felt louder than everything else, quiet, intentional, deeply meaningful moments that remind you why photography can capture a feeling in a photo.

I typically don’t photograph weddings anymore, but certain circumstances cause me to bend a rule or two and I’m so glad I did. Especially because this was before I officially knew I was opening restaurant number two. Life was already shifting, even if I didn’t know it yet.

Lately I’ve been missing photography more than I realized, and getting to create this truly filled my cup this month. It felt grounding, emotional, and like coming home to a piece of myself I hadn’t visited in a while.

Forever grateful for moments like this!
