I have some exciting news! I’ll officially be starting cosmetology school on August 17th!

Because of my new school schedule, I will no longer be opening weekday photography sessions through May 2027. All sessions and weddings that are already booked are still happening exactly as planned! Moving forward, I’ll only be accepting a limited number of weekend sessions, so weekend availability may fill more quickly than usual.

But please don’t think I’m going anywhere! I’m still here for all of your photography needs and will continue booking sessions whenever my availability allows. I know my page has been a little quiet lately, but behind the scenes I’ve still been incredibly busy shooting over the past few weeks. I have so much beautiful work to share with you all very soon!

Photography is still such an important part of my life and business. I’m simply adjusting my schedule while stepping into this exciting new chapter.

I’m genuinely so excited to build two creative careers that can eventually work together. My goal is to someday bring cosmetology into Rustic Lens! whether that means offering hair and makeup for bo***ir sessions, helping brides feel even more prepared on their wedding day, or creating an even more complete experience for my clients.

Golden light, barefoot moments in the water, the prettiest summer dress, and one seriously dreamy senior session ✨ Every part of this evening felt soft, warm, and timeless from the sun glowing through her hair to that unreal little moon hanging above us.

This session was seriously SO much fun from start to finish 🤍 I love when seniors come ready to do a little bit of everything, something soft and timeless, something playful, a little downtown edge, getting in the water, and of course chasing that last bit of golden light.

The warm, rich, creamy tones in this gallery are everythingggg. I love edits that feel glowy and full of life while still keeping skin tones natural and every moment true to how it actually felt. Every outfit brought out a different side of her, and she made every single location look completely effortless.

Sessions like this are my absolute favorite because we get so much variety while still creating a gallery that feels cohesive and completely true to the senior. From the fun, carefree moments to the more editorial portraits, she absolutely killed every single look. This whole session feels like summer, personality, confidence, and a little bit of magic all wrapped into one, and senior sessions like this are exactly why I love what I do. 🤍

Some sessions feel special before you even make it home, and this was absolutely one of them. The entire drive back, I couldn’t stop thinking about the light, the locations, and how editorial and timeless these already felt.

She made the whole evening so much fun, she trusted every idea, moved so naturally, and brought the best energy to every setup. We laughed, chased the light, stepped into the water, and ended the night beneath the tiniest crescent moon.

This senior session was EVERYTHING, effortless, golden, full of personality, and a gallery I already know I’ll be obsessed with for a long time. 🌙✨

Senior session, part two ✨🩰

For the second part of her senior photos, we wanted to create something that felt more than just pretty, we wanted it to feel timeless, personal, and editorial.

We started in the dance studio, a place that holds so much of her story, and captured her exactly as she is: graceful, strong, expressive, and completely in her element. From the quiet moments to the movement, the spins, and the leaps, every frame felt like a glimpse into the years of dedication behind her art.

Then we stepped into the golden evening light, and the entire session shifted into something soft, dreamy, and almost cinematic. The pink dress, the warm sun, the natural movement, it all came together in the most beautiful way.

This session feels like the kind of gallery she will look back on years from now and still love. Elegant without feeling stiff, editorial without losing who she is, and timeless in a way that still feels completely her. Senior photos should tell a story, and this one absolutely does. 🤍
