Some seniors don’t need much to tell their story.

A guitar. A shotgun. A good dog. A cowboy hat. The wide-open country he’s grown up in.

These are the kinds of senior sessions I love most, the ones that feel timeless. The ones that tell a story. The ones that give you a glimpse into someone’s life and capture who they are in this exact moment before stepping into their next chapter.

Every detail of this session reflected who he has become, and years from now these images will still mean something because they’re authentic to him. Not just photos, but memories of the things he loves, the places he calls home, and the season of life he’s living right now.

This was such a fun evening, and he absolutely rocked his session. If you caught the sneak peek on my story last night, you even got to hear him playing guitar out in the field while we photographed one of those moments that made the entire session feel that much more genuine.

The details carefully chosen, the quiet moments before the ceremony, the faith that brought them here, the family standing beside them, and the love that fills every corner of the day.
