Hey everyone! My name is Karlie, the face behind Lasso Lens Photography. I figured it was time to introduce myself!
I’m a senior at Tarleton State majoring in Agriculture Communications. My passion for photography started my sophomore year of high school by just taking pictures of cattle in fields. My love for agriculture is rooted in family history of farming and ranching but I was also heavily involved in FFA through stock show, horse judging, and various anther activities. I believe in making agriculture known, seen, and heard. Through photography I am able to give a western vibe to my images and take pictures of the very thing I love!
I come from many areas but was born in Lubbock, Tx where my family farms and ranches in Olton, Tx and Maryneal, Tx. I go back home to Georgetown, Tx and spend time in Brady, Tx as well. You can almost find me everywhere in Texas!
Capture moments. Create memories. This means that each photo is a moment captured in time that I am so blessed to capture. While taking photos rather it be a senior, family, couple, or livestock, my goal is to create memories in the process that will not be forgotten. The special moments of life frozen in time to be a memory.
I live by the verse Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not into your own under but in all your ways acknowledge him and he will guide your paths.” God will make a way even when you don’t see it. He has a path already made for you no matter what you see or don’t. Always trust in him!
